EVENTS

KLAS has an active Student Council with many student-led sub-committees. These committees work under faculty guidance for several key events in the school calendar, all of which promote cooperation and friendship and which foster skills in leadership and in working as part of a team.

Kumolympics

​

Our version of a sports day, in this event, all the students are divided into three teams for a morning of games and sports and an afternoon of carefully choreographed team dances. Although winners are announced at the end of day, it is more an event about teamwork, fair play and fun.

Midnight Kumon

​

This is an end-of-year farewell event for the 12th graders who are about to graduate – a variety night with a mix of music, song, dance, and comedy. 

​

In addition, other recreational events are arranged by other committees to foster increased communication between the grades and for their entertainment.
