Since the beginning of September, about 30 students have been training diligently to prepare for the annual 10 km race in Lausanne. Their hard work and commitment paid off on Sunday, October 26, when a group of 27 runners took the bus to Lausanne to compete.
The morning weather looked discouraging—rain, cold, and heavy clouds, with temperatures reaching only 6°C. Fortunately, the rain stopped just in time for the race, though the air remained chilly. Despite these conditions, the atmosphere of the event was as energetic as ever. This year’s race was sold out, with around 2 500 participants in the 10 km event and more than 12 000 runners across all categories. The popularity of the race continues to grow each year.
We are proud to share that our school placed 10th out of 55 teams—an excellent achievement!
